Bentley "Home Use" License Policy

One of the many benefits of a Bentley SELECT subscription is the Home Use license. Because hectic work schedules may not permit the opportunity to explore the many facets of MicroStation V8 during normal work hours, Bentley welcomes those whose organizations allow them to take the commercial media home and open up MicroStation V8 through January 31, 2002.

You can obtain a special Home Use license file that can be used with MicroStation V8 (v08.00.00.21 or greater) specifically for this purpose by going to the MicroStation V8 Home Use License page. Please note that by using this license, you agree to the following:

The Home Use license cannot be used for any commercial-related work (including training). The Home Use license can only be used at home -- it can not be used in your office under any circumstance. The Home Use license cannot be transferred or distributed to any firm or individual external to your organization. The Home Use license file can not be included on any electronic media (CD, floppy, Web site, etc.)
