InRoads

From field to design to construction, InRoads includes the features your road and site design work requires. It offers advanced DTM capability, associative alignments with spirals, user-defined typical sections--including superelevations, independent slope and ditch control, and parametrically driven decision tables. Plans, profiles, cross sections, contour maps or shaded analytical models can be extracted to your standards. InRoads Bridge
InRoads Bridge simplifies the layout of bridge geometry, helping you define complex bridge geometry or simple span bridges. It provides interactive tools for users to create precise 3D geometric models from which drawings and reports can be extracted.

InRoads Bridge calculates all information from the roadway's geometric and digital terrain models, not from CAD graphics. You can lay out a variety of girder types, including plate girders, with options to configure them as needed. The design may be adjusted to accommodate haunch, curvature, camber and deflections.

InRoads Site
InRoads Site provides powerful site design, digital terrain modeling and robust coordinate geometry tools to allow users to generate contours, profiles, cross sections and cut-and-fill volumes.

With InRoads Site, you can quickly lay out a subdivision based on area or frontage and automatically create parcels. You can also manipulate lots to explore different scenarios. Automated setback calculations and right-of-way takes reduce production time for writing legal descriptions of takes and remainders. InRoads Site's digital terrain model lets you easily display contours.

InRoads Survey
InRoads Survey enables users to transfer data from electronic fieldbooks (EFBs) to the MicroStation or AutoCAD environment, reducing time from field to finished drawings with interactive data editing capabilities. It produces plot-ready graphics immediately upon reading the data. Contours can be displayed, surveys adjusted and results visually verified--all before you leave the site.

InRoads Survey's Fieldbook Data Editor helps you interactively edit your raw survey data. You'll see graphics updates immediately, without reprocessing your raw data file. Feature-based survey data and attributes can be captured within your chosen workflow, and feature-based attribution can be used to annotate each feature in your design file automatically.

InRoads Storm & Sanitary
InRoads Storm & Sanitary offers advanced 3D modeling, design and analysis, drawing production and data management capabilities for storm and sanitary networks.

It includes comprehensive tools for surface water collection, transport and disposal to help you determine vital project needs and design effective systems to meet those needs. InRoads Storm & Sanitary also aids in the design and analysis for both hydrology and hydraulic computations.

InRoads Storm & Sanitary allows you to specify depth/diameter ranges and introduce infiltration into the system, so you can design your systems effectively without surcharging conditions.

InRail
InRail is an industry-specific set of rail design, maintenance and manufacturing tools. MicroStation Descartes is Bentley's comprehensive solution for image-mapping, visualization and raster-to-vector conversion projects of gray-scaled, bitmap data. Designed for production and visualization, MicroStation Descartes is used worldwide by engineers and planners in several disciplines, such as Cartography, Arial Photogrammetry, Land Surveying, Urban/Land-Use Planning, and Civil/Transportation Design.

Descartes adds high-performance continuous-tone raster operations to the MicroStation CAD environment by allowing users to warp, reference, resample, mosaic and drape raster images within their MicroStation design files.
